Periodically Marty Omoto will send out a commentary giving his points of view and ideas for how to change society as a whole. These commentaries not only elaborate on what is wrong outside the community, but also the wrong from within the community, such as services cuts being "a lifeboat for some" as it destroys the community as a whole.
