Bills to be heard that could have some impact on people with disabilities, mental health needs, seniors, or low income workers and families:

  • SB 886 (Florez) – In-Home Supportive Services: Electronic Timekeeping: Would authorize counties to use electronic timekeeping in record keeping to verify tasks and hours completed by persons  providing in-home supportive services.
  • SB 1329 (Leno) – Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly: Would require licensees of residential care facilities for the elderly to notify residents and other specified parties within 24 hours when a notice of foreclosure is issued on the property, an unlawful detainer action is initiated against a licensee, or when a licensee files for bankruptcy.
